What We Do
Build community
The Illustration Club, or Illo. Club as we like to call it, is a community group made for and by Western Australian illustrators, professional and hobbyists alike.
We’re all about getting cool people together to make new friends, create rad art, and share knowledge amongst our members freely!
Workshops
Freely sharing knowledge is one of the founding tenets of the Illo Club.
To pursue this goal, we've hosted a wide range of tutorials, workshops, and community discussions. These include Costumed Life Drawing, Behind the Scenes with local comic creators, and convention stall guides, as well as discussions on topics like self-care, finance, and ethics in the industry.
We host in-person hangouts every 2nd Monday at Milktooth Art Space from 4-7pm, as well as a variety of the online meetups like our Discord Movie Nights.
These are casual social events that anyone is welcome to attend! Come along to share your new favorite comic, strengthen your drawing skills, and make some amazing new friends.
